Erica Russell is a retired Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner with decades of experience caring for New Hampshire families. A dedicated triathlete and mother of four, Erica recently completed a 3,100-mile bicycle journey from San Diego to St. Augustine.

What is an Ironman?

An Ironman competition is a one-day sporting event consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride, and a 26.2-mile marathon run—raced back-to-back without a break.

Having successfully completed multiple Ironman competitions and a 3,100-mile bicycle journey across America, Erica is bringing that same Ironman discipline and her years of healthcare expertise to the New Hampshire State House to represent the citizens of Franklin and Northfield.

She believes in results over rhetoric. Her approach to leadership is rooted in the same practical "Fixit" mentality that gets a bicycle across the country or a patient through a health crisis: you identify the problem, you look at the facts, and you do the work.

Erica is a fiscal conservative who believes in protecting the taxpayer. She knows that every dollar the state spends comes from your hard work, and it must be managed with discipline.

She is a firm supporter of our public schools. Strong schools are the backbone of a strong economy and a healthy community for our children and grandchildren.

Protecting Our Cities & Towns

Erica strongly opposes the downshifting of costs from the state to our local cities and towns. When the state fails to meet its obligations, it forces our local property taxes to rise. Erica believes the state must fulfill its responsibilities under the law—ensuring that Franklin and Northfield aren't left picking up the tab for state-level mandates.
